They are not defective but Short sizes from our regular 8 Inch Straws, that are leftover sizes during production. Sizes are about 6 inches and are great to use for medium size glasses. The quality of these Short sizes is same as the 8 inch quality all edges are rounded and safe to use. All these are made at Rustic Horse Glass Studio, handmade in India.
